Hello everyone.
This is my first post, so still new to the solar world
I've been doing some reaserch and I've been waiting for my new build house to be ready so I can install Solar PV. The House is to be completed on the 19th of December (I know that it will be tight schedule to install the Solar PV and get the FIT)
Due some shading in the morning but not much (see link to picture simulating shading in December ), I would either like to get the SolarEdge or the SMA Opti trac inverter.
I've been quoted £6500 for the below.
13 x LG300
13 x P300 SolarEdge Power Optimisers
1 x SE4000 SolarEdge inverter
Complete Schletter on-roof mounting system
All associated electricals
The below link shows the design on the south facing roof (I've designed it using sketchup ). Because it is my first post the forum doesn't allow me to publish the link that's why I added a space after the "goo.", please remove the space to access the image
https://goo. gl/T9DhCz
I will really apprecite if someone could advise if the system is okay or would be a over kill with the SolarEdge? I will be looking to extend to West and East roofs in future to reach a 10 Kw system (4 using the FIT and extra 6 without the FIT) + a battery storage system to be off grid.
Thanks in advance
