Plasterer told me they were re-plastering a deep stairwell   , scaffolding etc  , awkward  job ,  customer went away for a week .     

Customer phoned to say why are you knocking off at 4.00  and drinking tea every 2 hours     ...plasterer started to say if he did another mix he'd be there until 6.00   skimming  , then asked how he knew about tea.    

What the plasterer thought was an alarm sensor was a camera  ....customer spent every day on holiday watching them work remotely .  

 
Well wonders never cease.  Bill paid in full, just landed in my bank account.

Don't always judge a grumpy customer as going to be trouble.
