Ha ha!! Some nice stuff though!! The rolls must be monstrous!! a 72" borer is a big bit of kit, and a 10' radial is one hell of a drill. My own drill I am rebuilding stands nearly 9' high, but would be a baby next to the radial!!

john..

The rolls were installed and the building was finished around them.

I have two customers with machines like that.

Makes you think twice in case things go wrong, the insurance claim to replace them would run into £M's!!!

I understand SW, I also find that our trade is less respected these days and we're held in the same esteem as window cleaners and gardener's which makes me sad as we have to put a great deal of effort into ensuring our work is not only pleasing to the eye but safe for continuous use for many many years.

I blame Margaret Thatcher for creating this desk based society where no one actually does anything other that create paperwork for someone else. A bit like those pyramid scheme's.

:)
It does appear and is the fact that sparks are ten a penny to customers. People just do not understand what we have to go through to be qualified and it annoys me when people just don't want to pay because of there ignorance to this.
