Did you know that by law, spiders should apply for planning before constructing a web? It's shocking the amount that don't
Actually I heard they are free to construct webs in bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms and landings providing there is only one flight of stairs. It is any other location that requires permission. Or get some other approved spiders to come and construct the web for them and notify it. Back to asbestos. Historically a lot of houses with integral garages used to have asbestos sheets put us as the garage ceiling. I am sure most if not all of these properties have spiders in their garages?

What a great thread! Not that I'm condoning it but I'm pretty sure the cat / lemonade bottle trick USED to work better in the 70's when the old Corona bottles were about. Being made of glass rather than plastic they were heavier and your aim stayed truer! Of course you tended to lose your refund!

I'm saying nothing but......I have found that in the autumn if you place conkers around the house it stops spiders. Been doing it 2 years and no spiders - just several trips to A&E for slips trips and falls due to the damn conkers!

Cirrus that is a true fact not like all these wind up merchants on here ha ha ha ;)
doubt its true... otherwise the spiders around the conkers in a house the other day havent been told about it
