I had a strange phone call at just after 5:30pm last night...

"Hi, we're a production company in Scotland and we're filming in a nursing home near you and we'd like you to test it for us"

"Are you wanting to film me testing it?"

"Yes...."

"Could you send me an email with some more information and I'll have a think about it"

"No problem"

Even though I haven't received an email, I somehow don't really want to be doing this

Why would a film company in scotland want to make a film of someone doing a PIR on a nursing home several hundred miles away?? Still, would be good to be able to put on your adverts, "as seen on tv" What if it is one of them "bodgy tradesman" type films???? Be good to be on the telly with them saying; "now this man, he does it properly" Could put on adverts; "As recommended on tv" !!!

Ask if they might need you to do a porno type one in a girls sixth form college or something, you could always tell them your probe has been checked and certified each year!!!!

john....

There's no way I would be doing this,,, they'd probably want me to say "Ooooh, that's illegal" or some such twaddle,,,, other than tha they'd edit it to make me look like a right twonk (wouldn't take much ;) )

They were filming a scene for a remake of Wuthering Heights near us. They had a scene with a sheep so needed a vet in attendance. We told them we cost £80/hour. My old boss was there 9 hours, but he only charged for 8 as he got a good lunch out of them. They paid by return of post.

We lost a full day being filmed for Countryfile and all we got from that was a Pasty and some cake at dinnertime.
