Had he? I didnt know about that, mebbe theres hope for the rest of us after all then :)

Theres not much in this world I find intolerable but thieves definately fit the bill for me, im not a violent man by any means but would happily stand on ones throat and watch the last few wisps of wasted life whither gently away if I found one in my house

Indeed. They should have given him a medal. Problem was (from memory) he shot them while they were running away and he had just gone postal a few days before on another house and shot out all its windows.
Also he didn't have a licence for the gun he used IIRC.

Surprised the police didn't charge you for wasting their time as its clearly not their job to protect the public these days. Had a friend who's place was being broken into by a psycho and he called the police 3 times at about 2am. They rocked up at 8am to check they were all still alive. That was nice of them wasn't it.
Had an incident in my road tonight phoned the police and while still on the phone a police car turned up to sort it out, when I looked at the police car it was a ARV.

Install covert cameras now - you have the perfect excuse to spend money without the wife objecting, and the ****** is likely to be back.
She will if he puts them in the bedroom :slap :slap:slap:slap

Noz

this is what suggest

empty your van

get a few ful rubble sacks and put them in

get in yourself with a sleeping bag, shotgun

and wait...........

A different point of view here for you Noz, my Ma and Pa came down from the Midlands to visit yesterday, drove 200 miles and just before they turned into my road a car sideswiped them and then drove off. Both were too flustered to get the reg number or even the car make and model, only that it was a silvery saloon

So I spent 30 minutes or so driving round the rest of the small area ( if the car was heading in the direction they said there was only a few places it was going) driving slowly around and sometimes getting out of the car and walking up peoples driveway looking at thier car for scrape marks and blue paint.

I wasnt challenged by anyone, but I can see it might have looked more than a bit suss if someone did see me. I was so incensed by it that I wasnt exactly being covert.

Not saying that is what was going on at yours, but it did make me think

Many years ago when I wore my employed telecommunications engineer hat..

our company use 2-door Ford Escort estate cars with plastic signs that clipped over the rear windows...

So during the week with back seat folded down & signs clipped on it was the company van..

at the weekend with signs off and the rear seat up it was a family estate car...

{for those that remember TV rental companies like Visionhire & Radio Rentals had similar vehicles IIRC}

At a later time we were taken over by a company that preferred stickers on the bonnet & doors..

permanent advertising....

The break in rate across the company vehicles was undeniably more with permanent signage!

& that was many years ago when the economy was not in the state it is today!!!

All vans.... of any trade are a big advert saying ...

come here boys there may be
