These factors when applied to deaths as a result of any virus, determine its strength (and how the poplation as a whole may deal with it).

Most flu strains have the potential to kill.

I agree the press do not tend to give the full facts.

they make it sound like if you contract it you have no hope.

There have been several instances of viruses causing mass deaths in mankinds history.

Time will tell.

first we had bird flu and we had to shoot millions of birds.........

now we have pig flu and we'll undoubtably have to kill millions of pigs....

wonder when there'l be an outbreak of political flu....
