Hello

Does anyone have experience of switching a E7 contactor from a meter?

I am swapping out a RPTS Sangamo used for E7 Heating (via Moeller 50A contactor), it swaps high/low rate on an old analogue sub-meter.

Customer has given me a dual rate Iskra ME162 -D3A42-G22-M3K0 meter which has 4 main terminals and small auxiliary terminals. Tried testing while rate 2 was on but could not switch the contactor on via the Aux outputs. Maybe this meter just indicates dual rate !

I can switch the contactor manually
I have tried Iskra via email and phone numbers that seem invalid, supplier scratching head, so struggling with technical help.

Any pointers on this subject would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

The meter says NC above the middle terminal. NC would imply it is normally closed. I guess these are clean contacts, it does look like there are 3 separate connections, have you tried for continuity between any of them?

Also how does the meter "know" when to switch? you would need to over ride it to test the contactor.
