Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help. Batteries arrived tuesday, fitted them in the evening and have now had our first full day of (almost) zero energy from the grid.



After installing the panels a few months ago now we've seen our grid usage drop by half but to see it drop to just 0.3kWh for the day is awesome.

Also one last tip... it seems that the Octopus Go tarrif is locked for a year from when you sign up, right now it's at 40ppu peak and 7.5ppu off peak (00:30-04:30).... now with the rises due in a few days this will be cheaper than anything so may be worth jumping on now even if you don't have a battery system.

That's good to know, I'll have to look at switching, my additional system is making slow progress, but progress is progress.

This is true, it has taken a couple of millennia to get to where we are today sone say it’s progress
