I was itching to tell the forum that i was at the printers taking a look over the digital proofs they had done this morning. the printer is starting to make the plates at 7.30 in the morning. i will post a pic of the machinery. it is called a B2 and is huge!

i cant figure out how it all works. there are four etched plates, each for CMYK. each plate goes on a monster roller, the paper gets dragged in, in big sheets and the rollers put each colour, one on the top of the other. at the end then a man with a magnifying glass checks they all line up. how do they get it so accurate?Pray

The Book is the size of a GN3 and is quality, So my guess is it won't be cheap to post them. So the Savings are Huge...

My copy arrived today.

Had a quick flick when I wasn't getting sent on errands for 'last minute' items by the wife. Looks excellent I particularly like the chapter on 'putting it in' a area not covered by most other books.

Looking forward to reading the rest over Christmas when the family are watching the usual rubbish on the telly.
