I'm all in favour of equal opportunities but letting a blind person loose with a power drill is asking for trouble IMHO.

just today i super glued my fingers together with glue that withstands 200KG/cm2:O of pulling force once set (basicly set after 5sec) but luckerly i had a pot of glue remover so no visit to A n E

why bother removing the glue... just remove some skin instead

Mine is I drilled through a gas pipe whilst my apprentice looked on, I had a lit cigerette in my mouth at the time, 20 minutes later I drilled through a water pipe.My apprentice is still with me, but never forgets to remind me of what a complete plonker I am.

I was fitting some down lights at my sister-in-laws house. I cut holes in the ceiling to enable me to drill through the joists to route the cable. after doing the last one I started to fish the cable between holes, it was then I discovered it was a false ceiling and the cable could have gone over the top of the beams. I was cursing myself for hours.
