Hi

I'm about to finish my VRQ level 2 domestic installers course at Stoke on Trent college, not sure what i need to look at doing next regards study? I have already got a C&G in electronic and electrical servicing and 20yrs experience as a service engineer but as the electrical repair industry has died a death i have decide to retrain. I currently do aerial and satellite work and screen installs and data cabling etc, i quite often get asked to do electrical work hence why i have done the domestic installers course. I am keen to learn more and gain experience bearing in find i have a family to support

You will need to join a scheme ie niceic, elecsa, napit, bsi etc to do notify able work under part p. not sure what the entry requirements are these days. Think it has to be a level 3 qualification minimum. Sure others will be able to inform you better. Good luck tho mate :)
