Todays work

This is a job for a mate of a mate, materials supplied (except the RCBO's & clips & earth rod enclosure), no payment just a swap of trades (he is going to plaster & tile my en-suite next week).

Submain will be (doing that monday) 6mm 3c swa from house TNC-s to garage some 18 - 20 meters away. Tails will be split at the house into switch fuse.

In garage cu & lighting pattress going in.

we have had this discussion before, TT requiring DP disconnection, or not as you see fit.

M107 is obviously happy enough with his interpetation of the regs that SP is adequate.

or perhaps he has DP protection on the submain???

Rest assured Volti it does; the MEC is through a hole drilled just large enough for the cable & the cutout section was just large enough for the cables only & a smidge of clear silicone to seal off.

In the garage, for those that have never used them you can see I've used Piranha earth nuts at either end of swa.
