I personally would just get a good pair of work pants with plenty of pockets.

I had work belt years ago, and i filled it up with everything and ended up not being able to find anything.

look like a numpty if you walk around with it all day every day, but they are useful to have for certain jobs

and the chain is for holding a roll of tape

There is a bloke goes into my wholsalers and he is ALWAYS wearing his tool belt...how the flip does he mange to drive? Tricking Fosser, new belt, new tools.

I have a Dewalt belt BUT only use it when high up to save constant climbing OR pouches when 1st fixing....clips, screws, grommets, sleeve, snips, sharpie, hammer.

Swap out these tools for second fix ones if there is too much for my pockets OR I am up a tower scaffold......... :coat

llol nah i'll think i'll pass on moving to numptyville haha think al leave it for now, would maybe get it later on when i'm doing homers for myself that way only the customer can laugh at me :p and not my work mates

Being laughed at on site is no laughing matter.

I was laughed at on site yesterday when I arrived sporting a rather snazzy blue 'bump cap'. I don't do 'caps' there comes a time when baseball caps are a tad generation/age specific I think 18 is about the limit. Anyway, I digress, the good humoured ribaldry continued until I removed said 'cap' to reveal my newly designed scalp...having cut the top of my head open on a steel doorway on sunday. The laughing soon subsided and one labourer threw up!

Previous week I lost 1 - 0 to gravity on the scaffolding!...................I'm getting too old for all this........... :coat

well. for those that know me know its not often Im seen without a bucket hat,

its my sunshine hat, both dry sun, and liquid sunshine that we more often get round these parts.

my missus thinks they make me look like a pratt, it would take a lot more than me to stop wearing a hat to help that

I don't ever remember being in your belt:slap

Seriously though I have two belts, nothing branded as I find them too frigging big and full on, one for first fixing the other for second fixing, I'm very rarely without one of them, and no Steps I don't wear them in the van!!

I have a belt, 2 massive seperate pouches, with slightly smaller pouches in the front,

great for 1st fix new builds, clips is about all I put in them, 1.5 one side and 2.5 other one,

or roof work/scaffold/ladder etc, thats the only time I really find them practical to be truthful,

general day to day stuff I cant have the hassle.

I dont have the hassle of getting past me belly to get to the belt:consoling

With the recent weather that you've had I'd have thought that the hi-vis would be standard issue. Just saying!!

Steptoe's new book keeper reluctantly complied with the company uniform. He keeps telling her that her polo shirt in company colours is on backorder...........
