Toroidal transformers

Sorry probably spelt it wrong, any advice on the best place to get one from online? As my local wholesalers have been messing me about since before christmas and still haven't come up with the goods.

It's to run 6 downlights so needs 300va

They certainly can do that. I had to change a b6 mcb for a c6 recently and that was less than 300 va transformer. I didn't fit light and the so called sparks from john lewis who came out said there must be another fault on circuit. Changed mcb and that solved problem.

I'd go for the electronic type, inrush current is massive on 300 va

nice soft start, you can get some realy cheap Electronic units up to 250 watt units from TLC think their
