When I was 17 I remember catching one of my pegs on the floor on my Gamma 125cc .... I shat myself!

I would carp myself at that lean angle.

Was the next frame the bike breaking free and him going for a slide?

Still if the bike does loose grip, you haven't got far to fall. Just make sure you don't get stuck under the bike.

It's all to do with the tyres,,, the tread on those go almost up to the rim

There are also the laws of physics, co-efficient of friction, yes tyres have an influence on that, than there is centripetal forces

Motogp bikes are achieving lean angles of 60 degrees these days due to tyre, chassis and suspension technology. And theres no tread on a slick tyre Noz however they do have very sharp profiles so theres more rubber on the deck at high lean angles, especially the front

the biggest problem with leaning so far over (apart from there being no room for the riders body) is telescopic forks and rear shocks, which usually cantilever on the vertical plane, don't work so well at almost horizontal, which is another reason lean angles like that wont be seen on your local roads, international MotoGp spec racetracks are glass smooth in comparison.

Now I'm neither a motorbiker or racer but even I'd know that's not good for aerodynamic flow, imagine the additional friction and or burns!
