Little tip, I always have meter drills in van - predrilling rod hole can be useful as way of avoiding losing to-many rods and dealing with stony / hard ground

Ref the comment earlier about changing to PME: I had EDF round recently when I fitted my REC isolator and I enquired more out of interest about whether I could change to PME (as next door, a newer build, has it). The guy said that in his opinion I'd be better sticking with the TT as my area has been notorious recently for the local pikeys stealing the earthing cabling off of the poles. Bless em!

Pikeys eh they try to take live cables and succeed so removing earth cables will be no problem.
