hello men,

doing a second fix and have a question regarding coax.

in the sitting room the guy has

2x with dish written on

1x amp

1x tv

any ideas what his thoughs are?

he also has some in the atic

and 2 other rooms with cables to

thanks

Hi Paul

Could be 2 are Satalite dish feed in cables

TV poss normal ariel feed in

AMP feed to Amp in loft

Then in loft you have the other end of this to feed into an Amp and then other feeds to other TVs from the Amp.

Agreed :)

yes it sounds like he is getting sky+/HD and wants to feed the rest of the house with its pictures

a magic eye lets you control the sky from another room,1 end goes into the second tv and the other into either an amp so you can control sky in more than 1 tv location (listen out for the shouts as someone changes your channel) lmao, or into the second output on the sky box. they vary in price

sorry to be bumb here, could someone do a diagram for methanks

Just a note guys that if you do duplex or triplex the other rooms then if you fit screened outlets the magic eyes may not work.

So this job is only doing coax? and you are not second fixing someone else's work then notifying it?

Not quite sure of the point you are trying to make ?:|

Coax cabling work on it's own requires no notification, to tap power for the loft box would be covered by an MWC
