Freesat and Sky satellite boxes have access to all the different BBC regions regardless of where you are (may need to manually tune in Non Freesat mode with a freesat box)

they do Dave, this was shown a day or so back and I dont think all of BBC ni content is available with a non NI ip address on the PC,

unless you either change your settings, or have a direct link,

Ive had this problem before, trying to watch live stuff on BBC NI in the past, and have had to get my sister or a mate to send me a direct link to the page.

To anyone with satellite (Sky of Freesat) it's well worth keeping an eye on the different BBC regional variants. For instance BBC2 Wales shows the Welsh open Snooker that's not on the other regions, and some Rugby as well I believe.

Also ITV has some differences, not many, but "ITV" often differs from "STV" that we have up here so worth keeping an eye on.

I would hate to only have freeview or cable that limits you to just your local BBC and ITV
