Can anyone recommend a decent laser level and if any of you use them for putting up lights can you please give me some tips

Regards

Chris

I won my laser level on ebay for 99p. If your using it for kitchen sockets, dado trunking etc you don't need anything special just basic. I tried using mine for lights but by the time you faff round with it, its quicker with a tape measure and some string.

I also have the dewalt cross level. They now do a 3 way one that would probably be even better for lights (but the price is probably twice the 2 line cross level).

I gave up with the laser level ..... not very good in light conditions & use a reel of cotton / drawing pins & tape measure if celing is painted, if only plastered I use a chalk line.

use a chalk line, it rubs off,

tough for the painters, why do we always work around every other trade?

plumbers put the pipes in and sod every body else.!
