My van is a Renaul Trafic, and I actually like it. Not a problem when it goes wrong as the company lease them and it just goes back to the dealer. My alarm system went all haywire yesterday and the van they hired at very short notice is a transit.

TBH, it's like driving a skip on wheels in comparison. The gearbox is ghastly, the whole body flexes when you hit a bump or dip in the road, and the experience harkens back to what it was like driving vans in the 1980's. The lights are good though - that's the only positive. Even if the gearboxes are ropey on the Trafic/Vivastar/Primera, I'd STILL prefer them to this pile of poo! At least they are comfortable to drive, and are 20 years more advanced than the Transit.

get either a vw transporter or if youve got the money a merc. use the mercs at work as multi drop vans and they are really reliable.140/180 miles a day, driven hard aswell as you get alot of agency lads ragging the crap out of them. id steer clear of iveco vans. we got some 57 plate vans, side doors falling off not being able to get first gear so you start burning the clutch up in second gear. and the interior is shocking. getting a vw myself as i cant afford a merc yet.
