Hi all...

I have a hypothetical question regarding different size solar PV systems:

If we have 4 hypothetical projects of different sizes;
100 KWp
400 KWp
750 KWp
1 MW

Assuming I'm using 250W panels:

For example 100KWp – 400 modules @ 37.4V (Voc – open circuit voltage) @8.31 Amps and tied into a 240V Mains

What is the voltage of the electricity generated of each project? Is it the same for all 4 or different?

Any help/advice appreciated

Depends on the design

Is this a homework question ?
The design is basically (for arguments sake), ground mounts/solar farms with modules connected in series...ie all the system sizes are a series circuit. Does the produced voltage remain the same? From my details above I've calculated ~ 30V (DC). So when arrays are all in series then the voltage remains the same despite the system size (Kwp)...is this correct?

No, it's not  a homework question. Just trying to figure out a problem a friend asked.

makes no difference to AC outputs in compliance with g83 / G59 requirements. Panels - think of these as solar batteries, if you join 20 batteries in series what happens to the voltage and ampage???
