Tidying up the wiring to boiler in an airing cupboard. At the moment a 15A re-wireable feeding the old immersion point which had been changed to a surface mount double. Face of old socket all nicely burnt, terminals as loose as. Cabling checks out OK so intend treating the 2.5mm as a radial and upping the new opd to a 20A breaker in the new cu:

The boiler WAS simply plugged in via a plug top fitted with a 13A fuse:

Going for a "flush" as can be look. (Needs another lick of paint etc too). So switched 13A single socket on the right feeding a DP FCU labelled "BOILER" & fused down to 3A. Bottom entry flex outlet on the left and then the wireless stat above which will be the only thing "sticking out": (BTW 1200mm to the mid point between upper and lower back boxes as in split the difference).

Simple question really............not keen on the existing connector block. Would 5 separate , 3 terminal, lever Wago blocks be better? Thinking that'll looks like a rats nest. I could I suppose form a bit of galv strip to act as a "saddle" for the connector block. Is there anything like this to fit back boxes? Cheers.

(EDIT: Apologies......not sure why some of my Photobucket links "show" the photo......and some don't?)

If it's just feeding the boiler, why up it to 20A?

More info needed.

Sorry, was intending on possibly using the single socket locally. Also there's a rechargeable hoover in the airing cupboard at the moment, on a wall bracket. You can just see the adapter here. I know that combined it's only a few amps but this socket is the nearest one to the back door so I can see someone plugging in the lawnmower etc.
