Have you spoke to them Badger? They might have got the money and have been waiting for you to turn up.

Also just wandered did you start the work earlier than planned? If so they might be waiting to get their next pay cheque or money from wherever so they can pay you. My mate did some work recently for a teacher and her husband was some accounts manager for a big company. They gave him the fob off for about 2-3 weeks then paid him at the end of the month.

I was round your neck of the woods other day, those bloomin temporary 4 way lights by Morrisons, what a pain!

I live in Stourbridge, do some maintenance and PAT'ing for local business, who also has premises near you. Did some PA testing last sunday, but noticed some dodgy choc block connnectors laid behind some machines. I only had my PAt stuff with me so no enclosures with me. Tried to pass the remedial onto you as you could have charged call out for 5 mins work on the way home one night and its not far from where you live, but client wasnt interested.

Took me 2.5 hours in travel there and back!

No, what I meant was -

"I told them i knew of a decent sparky who lived local to that branch of their business, ie you Badger."

The client said he still wanted me to go over and not use anyone else, so I just did it to keep him happy as he gives me regular work over here in stourbridge. Otherwise you could gladly have the work in Burntwood. Its too far for me to go as I either get stuck through wolvo or have to take the M6 and M5 which is always chocka when I am on it.
