I have recently started working for myself.

Most of my work is domestic, and i need to buy an installation tester.

Im looking for advice on which make/model to get as i dont want to waste money (they can be expensive)

Please respond if you have any suggestions, thanks.

Megger.No Fluke...

no megger...

ahhh... megger or fluke seem to be the preffered choice.. see if you can get hold of one of each and see which one "suits you sir"
would agree, down to personal choice,

if money is a big issue then I can also recommend Metrel, IMO very good value for money.

I prefer the fluke - not because I don`t like the megger, but I find the fluke more intuitive to me.

I`ve also got the kewtech KT62 - its fine for domestic work, though I find it heavy & awkward in comparison to the fluke.

Remember - ease of use (to you) is one thing.....

Comfort must also come into it- -you can be moving around with it hanging from your neck for a good few hours at a time.............
