most probably, the bloke in charge of our electrical department seems to try and enforce some silly rules and moans at us for doing things that he doesn't like despite them being 100% fine according to BS7671 like fly leads on metal boxes or 9.5Kw electric showers on 6mm even though its clipped direct.

9.5 on "clipped direct" 6mm isn`t necessarily ok

v.d. and Zs could cause issues there too, dependant on length of cct.....

lunkily for everyone involved we are forced to test everything we do like you should so ZS's's's's's are always acceptable and VD is never really an issue in the properties we have as they are only normal domestic properties so no runs are all that long.
