Trouble is batty, even on some of the "non-site", sites they will stop you from using domestic ladders, and insist on EN131 or above.
I went for fibreglass on everything as many industrial sites now will not allow wooden, as people are no longer classed as competent to inspect them, and if they are painted structural defects could be missed, or, there could be latent defects in the wood that could cause sudden catastrophic failure.
Rubbish, but that is the policy, plus they are heavy!
They don't allow aluminium as they are conductive, thus not allowed for any electrical work.
This is the status on all the large COMAH, & sites that require CCNSG PTS cards in this area.
