Looks like its me and Stepps .

I only have two small jobs this week but Thunderbird 3 is in the garage today for shackle bushes and front brakes dragging . Collapsed hoses apparently.

Seem to be spending more than I'm earning lately.

No, im not working today either, tho a day spent clearing the cardboard boxes from everywhere after a recent house move means Ill still sweat like a rapist

Been out and finished a job from last week, now got loads of paperwork to do, a report, a quote, 6 invoices (just done 1), a set of CAD drawings for 2 machine control panels and 3 PIR's to write up.

Got a job booked in for the morning next door to The Royal Mint!

Not much chance of any bonus though.

I am having a few days off, first time in the last year! Although I have been in the office this morning and have two minor works certificates to write up and one EIC, plus 29 e-mails feels like I am just working from home rather than having a few relaxing days.

Im working, subbing to my old firm, and they have just asked if I want some more work.

Money isnt great, but its work, and no hassles.

im working aswell, going to get some temp power on a new build now, been and fixed an commercial sign outside and also installed an extra socket in a dining room and replaced a light in a garage for someone this morning.

I've been working, doing the final AC connections on a 100kW Solar PV system. Sun is out and I am finished so just been up onto the national trust common for an ice cream. Yum!

Day off for me.

But I AM working. So far today i've emptied my daughters bedroom, ripped up the old carpet, fitted a new carpet and assembled her new bed.

All I've got to do now is put the doors back on and move the rest of the furniture back in.

then dismantle the old bunk bed and shift it up into the loft, drag the old carpet out to the garage ready to go to the tip, and tidy up.

I'll be glad to go "back to work" for a rest.
