As a DIYer I welcome it.
In the USA it seems they intentionally have long lengths of "earth" left bare in CU's and breaker boxes.

sorry to say but its an April fools , they had me up to Scotland going to MICC only,
I did not notice in the cable table it started at 1mm until after, and that they said that 1mm was being done away with,
