wind turbine stumped!!

this one has me stumped a bit guys. on a single phase supply United utilities will only allow a 16 amp grid connection. the customer has installed a 10kw turbine.

is their anyway of limiting or diverting only 16 amp to the grid??

i personally dont think there is but thought id put the question out there

dont know much about wind turbines, but it should be possible to limit the current
