Wiring for outside lights

Forgot to mention that the three interior lights are also controlled from another switch on the other side of the room.

That would be the two way switching that we talk off, these would be operated via the left switch in the picture?

That wiring is a right mess , did the brickie do it ?

I dread to think what the board looks like  :C

When screwing that switch back on the wall take very great care not to trap one of the wires and/or nick the insulation with one of the screws.....

or you could end up with live screws, 

Which may not trip anything as it looks like the back box is not earthed .

So I connected both wires as directed and we're in business. 

Thanks for everyone's support. You've helped me out as the misses was starting to give me grief about getting these lights hooked up.

That looks like a  2 gang, double pole switch, Mk ?
