Ah  you mean Utopia  Barx  , the Land of no Horizontal Noggins :)

Surely Utopia is the forum? The land of perfect electricians who all have correct training, experience, qualifications and are ever willing to help any new member in a polite and friendly manner now matter how dumb the question. Or was that a dream I had or another forum?  Interesting link Nicky, it makes me think of that James Bond film where 007 used a magnetic device to undo the zip on the rear of some nice looking female. So I now have visions of  a forum member guiding a fish wire, tied with a with metal loop, down a wall, while in the bedroom behind the wall zips are undoing all on their own, or is that Utopia MK II?

Have been looking myself but they do not seem to be available in UK, or am I useless on google !.
Hi Silverfox

Dont want to insult you, but my google search resulted in me finding magnepull on ebay in less than 300 milliseconds!

The tool I'm waiting for will be the one that lowers a drill bit down inside the wall, drills a hole in the hidden dwang noggin, then threads your wire through the newly drilled hole.

At first looks good but i dont believe it will be any good. For what it does you can lower a plumb bob, or a nut on a  string..

Its a bit like those strange pronged drill bits from a few years back, you could bore a  curved hole but why would you need to.

Just saying...........

Super rod do something similar
Looks good.

BUT I'll bet it only works for a couple of holes before you need a new drill bit. A worn bit will need too much pressure to drill a hole.

why doesnt he just go to the other side where there is no plasterboard?  :C
