There are several threads on Yell.com and Yellow pages and similar adverts, the search facility should bring up few. But to summarise there is that marmite factor, some hate them some love them.

I used them for several years, and I did get some work from them.

but at the beginning of this year I decided to stop advertising with them.  But they have messed it up and they tried billing me for this years advertising when I didn't have any.

I keep on phoning and writing to them and receiving calls from them. Every time I speak to them I think it's all cleared up and the matter is sorted, then blow me down in 2 weeks another bill comes.  I'm currently trying to deal with this simply by ignoring them now.

Absolute shower, could not organise a drinking session in a brewery.

Just over a year ago, the marketing of yell products was taken over by hibu (what a silly name) www.hibu.co.uk and that's when the incompetence seems to have started.

My opinion is avoid them as I don't like doing business with such incompetent people.

Just register for the free one liner on yell.com and get inundated with sales calls ffs. Don't make that mistake lol
