Local radio did this this morning  so I thought it might make a thread.

So , the first record you ever bought with your own money (  Or cylinder in Stepp's case)   :innocent

I'll kick off with   Mystery Train  by Elvis    A rework of an old blues number by Junior Parker .

I remember having no interest in music until I heard my older brother and his mates playing this in our front room  when any kind of R&B    ..Blues ..Rock  was never heard in Britain .

This is a tad embarrassing, but the first single I ever bought was As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys :Blushing I then proceeded to buy the whole album. :coat

In my defence, I was probably about 10 years old :)

I don't buy anything these days. My Spotify only costs me £5 per month so I download whatever I want :D

Here's a recent selection.

and I'll bet you use TPB too.  ;)

you know I wrote songs 5 7 & 8  :D

Can't remember, but, the first single it may have been, BTR I don't like Mondays, however, I believe I had bought a few albums before this, I'd have to check my vinyl collection.

As an aside, gutted & I mean SERIOUSLY GUTTED, our 2 off 300 disk CD changers have stopped working together tonight, so I will have to play to see what is wrong, absolutely devastated, they are nearly full & I normally have them on random mix across both with no delay, so I get continuous music out of them.  X(   X(   X(   :_|   :_|   :_|
