Cheers for that, duly scoobed. There isn't an obvious Root directory because of the Windows skin. Not sure on the copy / moved but thinking I can look at the other Zorin install on the desktop to see where it should live. So, typed root at terminal and it's installing things.........wish I knew what I was doing!Canoeboy said:Bin is a linux directory under root

Is it only on the HDD - i.e. was it copied to the desktop (in which case it can be deleted) or was it moved ?
EDIT: Have searched HOME and the only place bin appears to be is the Desktop so my money's on me having moved it!
