Hi guys and gals hope you’re all well,

I haven’t been on for a long time, life has taken some unexpected turns so had to have radio silence!

Anyhow I purchased a SBS board with compact RCBO’s in 2021, now I need a couple extra RCBO’s I find they have ceased trading. I know some on here wee a great advocate of the sbs dual busbar boards.
So anyone know of any old stock list that may have a couple of b20’s in the back room?

When they closed last year, the intention had been to supply breakers from existing stock for as long as possible. No harm in asking and you might get lucky.

depends if you want to change it again in 4 years? suppose its one way to get repeast work...

If you want backward compatibility, the best options are probably Hager or Crabtree Starbreaker. Personally I prefer the latter with the plug in busbar and a lifetime (and counting) of backward compatibility.

Could you not just find another couple of RCBO's with identical form factor, matching Icu KA fault ratings etc and use them?

That was an option but I couldn’t remember the other makes that are the same but badged differently, was hoping some of the boys on here would know?

It's rumoured Delong or DL are the same breakers that were rebadged. Can't confirm if that's the case, but the certainly look similar.

there's also schneider KQ, same as square D

I did fit one SBS CU back in 2013... as they were the cheapest option for a full RCBO back then..
Can't remember if I fitted anymore? But I've still got a spare 6A & 16A RCBO in my odds-n-sods box!
