    its very unlikely you'll damage a cable without noticing it. Maybe friction burn when pulling a cable against another, but if you leave enough space that shouldnt happen. Suppose you could ins res test it if you worried about a cable. If its going under a tiled floor or something

    you can paint it yeah. The brown stuff still sticks out like a sore thumb, but still looks better than white. Once did a rewire where a few switch drops had to be in brown trunking on top of oak panelling. doesnt look great but as long as you tuck it in the corners its bit less noticeable

    have you looked under the floor to see if you can pull the cable back down and send it back up to the new spot without extending?

    Electrium also make crabtree. there can't be much between the brands, but im sure wylex boards are better quality than volex. fitted a few wylex, never fitted a volex but replaced many of their failed breakers.

    ha yeah i've got one of those, cant remember if its draper or blackdecker, the one with the hole in the middle. Its unused in my celler- its also TURD never succesful detected anything with it properly

    its not a reg, but is recommended it be on its own circuit. 13amp or less ovens can be plugged into ring, takes a lot of current off the ring though. depends on size of kitchen and how many appliances but i niormally put ovens on a seperate circuit whatever the rating
