Does anyone see this progression continuing until there is just one , or possibly two scammers left.

When Part P was first mooted I remember the NICEIC, Nappit ,BS, ELECSA, ECA Zurich Insurance and Fensa as the front runners.

Zurich dropped out.

Fensa dropped out but I think they owned ELECSA at the start.

ECA now own ELECSA.

NICEIC is owned by the Electrical Safety Council , I believe.

Mayble Elecsa should change their name to Elecsafe. Then youll have Gas safe and Elecsafe.

There should be an elecsafe or something to clear things up to public, then which provider you use to achieve compliance to this should be via one of the five

Ian, the NIC/ECA were one and the same until 1956. NIC went to the side of consumer thinking, the ECA to the contractor side.
