    Fixing/Making good plasterboard

All, If you have to cut a hole (lets say using a 3" hole saw) in a plasterboard/stud wall to gain access, what do you use to "stick" the cut out disc back in place? What do you use to make good? And how long does it take to dry? Thanks, O.

    Parrot CK3100 installation

I run a Parrot MK9100 too. Nice piece of kit... in regards to it hanging, you need to update the software/firmware. I've never had mine hang since. There was an issue with a certain batch where the remote used to flatten the battery, but Parrot would swap out the faulty unit. O.

    Laser Levels ...

I have a few PLS's (laser level and plumb bob) with tripod. I do wonder if the cheaper ones are just as good? I think you can pick some up for about 20 quid! If you are doing site work, use cheap ones - they quickly go missing! O.

    PAT testers

It all depends on the type and amount of testing..... I have a Megger DVF PAT4. Its an ok tester, albeit for two reasons: User interface is not too good Its big and heavy. If you are testing an Office for example, you want a small handheld type unit, that you can quickly zip around the...

    Pat testing

I don't think the client are actually bothered about safety, they are doing it to comply with their insurers...and if worst comes to worst, they can show the HSE everything was tested! :( O.

    Pat testing

Funny this should come up.... I happen to speak to a guy doing some PAT today - the job he was on was for a client with 20,000 items to be tested - at 60p each! I was watching him PAT in an office, using a seward tester (most the kit being tested was Class II) - the tester had a thin wire and...
