    hi people need a bit of advise, got keys for my new house today and i have a question for you all. the house has been empty for about a year, so i would think the head tank and cylinder need dranining and refreshing? would they need disinfecting also? what do you guys think thanks

    if fully qualified certs should not be a problem, if he is registred with a scheme like NIC EIC then he will be able to notify easily enough. if not registred then you could notify through building control but that will cost you around £100.

    you have not seen my wife, kids or dog (mostly due to the fact i dont have a wife, kids or dog) what about above a chest of draws. really if your drilling you need to have a good look around first for current using equipmet fixed or free standing

    all depends on how much they the customer is willing to pay for, but you could get the socket behined the tv if the mounting bracket allows room for it, if not i bet an flex outlet plate would fit. this one just had socket and coax socket for freeview. If you want to push the boat out a bit...

    i fitted a wickes 7.5kw not too long back seemed good enough. not fitted millions of electric showers but the ones i have all seem to be the same. screw fix had a few in the sale last time i looked

    Only have continuity on line conductors if neutrels are connected

    its late and i may have missed something but if the L is broken at one point and the N broken at another. if something was plugged in and switched on then would that not be the cause of this. what were your readings for L-L and N-N and E-E in ohms

    just watched this on the news, the reporter said "ask the mp's if they have ever paid builders cash" but why would they as all there expencess can be clamed back
