So it turns out NwR have a specific standard stating that all socket circuits must be protected by a 20mA RCD.  What do you lot think about this?  What is the point?  Do you think a 20mA RCD would comply with the regulation for limiting disruption?

Came across a sub-main circuit the other day that was an MCCB panel board being fed from another MCCB panel board by two separate SWA cables. Both were connected the same and were the same size.  Anyone come across this?  If so, what is the reason behind it?  Is it acceptable?

So purchased this this week. A few issues with the installation but the tech support logged into my system and sorted it with no problems.  Started lmy first design using this software today. Nice and easy one to start with. I must admit I found it very user friendly. So far so good.
