I'm about to do a board change. What's there is a old wylex 3036 fusebox, and next to it is one I haven't seen before, which supposedly holds 1361s, all 15A feeding to storage heaters.

They looked like this:

MEM 100 AMP HRC FUSE HOLDER

Can I just update these to 60898s?

Never came across these in a dometic situation,More in industrial and commercial premises.

If they can afford for you to change the board i'd change it.

that link isnt working for me,

is it the ones that flick down from the top and the fuse slides into?

or do they pull out like a 3036 with the fuse held captive with 2 spring clips?

Is it the MEM one that is black and the 'prongs' run left to right instead of top to bottom like the wylex ones do?

If so, then forget it. I think they stopped making the breakers about 15 years ago. They were black with a white button that had the rating written on it in black.

I have a few in number 2 shed somewhere, never popular around here........... :coat

Are the replacement mcb style ones 60898s or 3871? I always thought they were 3871 but you use the zs table for the 60898. I have seen the wylex ones and the plug in mcb style ones should just slot in.
