I "think" these are the equivalent to the Schneider Si range, not sure though, will look into it.

Looking to avoid the situation completely if possible, but, not sure yet.

 
APOLOGIES!........for post #21.

My supplier it turns out quoted me for the Protek RCD's NOT the Merlin ones. I spoke to him this morning and he's coming back with Merlin prices. Just to confuse things Protek also call theirs the "SI" range. To add to this it appears Protek have STOPPED selling them here as according to their technical department "they are illegal".

It is because RS are wrong, if you look at the technical documents from MK that they provide, all will become clear.

Please don't take everything that suppliers say as Gospel, they are there to SELL, they are not liable if they get it wrong, the installer is, with the remote possibility that the manufacturer, could, be wrong, IF their tech data is wrong, which, if you check it is not.
