4 Dimplex storage heaters on a MCB

Hello guys!

I am working as a handyman and today somebody asked me to take a look at his heaters cause all went down(stop working)

I found all the heaters on the same MCB.I didn t check the value of MCB.All the heaters are DIMPLEX 2.4KW.

So,is normal to have 4 big heaters on the same MCB?If so,how big MCB should be?

On the other side, when i switch on the power from the main breaker ,at the bottom of the breaker ,it was blowing a spark.Any reason?

no not normal to have all the heaters on 1 MCB. Even if it was then you would have 9.6kw and would need a 45A MCB which is ridiculous. They should be on individulal circuits protected by MCBs
