Its legal under 16th
It wasn't illegal either ; \

I don't do much TT stuff up here in London as we have proper lecky, not like you bunch of sheep lovers  I would have thought the minimum csa required is also subject to Volt drop so distance to the rod(s) matters. We had to drop 3 rods in with a total of 15m of cable back to the Met recently. Wouldn't like to connect that lot up on a bit of 2.5. Of course if the jobs done correctly with Rcd's on everything, then the current flow to earth should be minimal, but i still would like to see a substantial bit of cable there : The Rcd's shouldn't be 100% trusted

Im lost as to the size of the EC here, cos in my mind that either makes it a 4, or a 2(or)1,

depending on the severity.

on a TT even in 15th 16 always from spike to MET, then maybe 10 to CU, and main bonds in 10, but 6 acceptable if 16 Neutral used.

it really all depends on EC + N imho,

but very open to interpetation depending if you want/need the work.

but IMHO not 16th compliant.
