A Day Off

Things Dads do for their kids..........My lad is 10 today & wants to go to the Gadget show live at the NEC as a birthday treat............So it's a day off work &  Brum here we come.

That don't sound too bad, day off for me also but looking after wee duck while Mummy duck lies in bed moaning. I also have flu and a trip to sainsburys is the only thing to look forward to wish I was at work...... eBay splurge here I come!

Well worth the trip & yes it cost me a small fortune, but we both had fun.

But I do have one very very happy ( if not a little tired) 10 year old & that my friends is what it is all about.....as they say all work & no play makes Dad a boring bloke
