that seems an awful lot of money to me!!!i paid roughly

That is VERY expensive!

Im guessing this might be a course that you go for a few weeks, craming everything in?

Thes ones you see in the national papers?

At my college its

Distance learning should be avoided at all times. you cannot learn enough from the, or get the necessary experience. speak to your local college and they will be able to help you better (and at least you know where they are)

this is what the course entails.

& Safety

i agree with andyc...... definitely go to your local college,i would recommend my college to anyone i couldn't have done this on my own, theres a place to meet the same people every week all in the same boat who all help each other and i my case become good friends. :)

I fully agree

Im waiting on a phonecall from them also, they said nothing about a price yet to me but from what i read here ill be turning them down at that price.

Take the course list into your local college and speak to a trained tutor for electrical training, I bet the price will be a little different to say the least!

Don't be fooled by these private companies offering highly priced courses that you can easily get at a fraction of the cost at your local college. Nice glossy brochures, with plush classrooms and cafeterias all have to be paid for. Just like the expensive cars on the drive.

Its not going to make you any better as a spark for the same C&G course.

It annoys me to that these places leach off people who are trying to better themselves before they even get off the ground. headbang

To be a spark you need to start thinking logical and look outside the circle.

This is a good starting point!

Good luck! ;)

id say theres alot better ways to spend 5k, and this course will not make you all that employable.
