you mean theyve realised that allowing anyone in wasnt a good idea and that maybe they should actually make sure people are properly qualified to do the work?!

I have , a 2356 level 3 nvq and 2391 recently did amendment 2 18th as was on 17th
Napit said its enough to join them .
2356 was before you needed to do a AM2 and I haven't been told I need that as well .

There were changeover periods I did my 2356 at the right time it seems , and because I'm worth it , haha

p.s had I done it a year later I would of needed to do the AM2 as well .
It doesn't seem I have one as this is my second renewal ,honest !!.

Isnt the main problem the lack of random inspections …….

ive seen some seriously bad installs by local registered companies. Sure they might get inspected once per year but if they have many sparks who’s to check on their work?
