I suppose if they somehow cut out the neutral/earth links it could put 400V out to the houses

Sorry , missed that.

I would like to post some pics (stolen from an American site) of two guys that didnt get away with cutting out some HV cables, but i think they would get deleated from here ?

whilst at my local Wilts last week a british gas engineer came in to tell them it was all safe now, some thieving idiot had nicked the external run of copper from the back of the building that was actually a gas line that was live!!!!

I think those did appear for a short while....

Ones where you could still see the bolt-cutters...

but everything else was crispy deep fried?

They were removed before.. so I guess they would go again.
