I might have one, I've came across some last week while clearing the lock up out,

But, I won't be back home til Thursday,  can have a look then for you...

Ooh Stablok, that is what bankrupted Federal Electric IIRC!

TBH, I can understand the need, but that kit is time expired now, and, really should be replaced.

Have you tried the used breaker place up nr B'Ham?

I maintain an industrial unit that uses those.

Whenever I need one, I find plenty on ebay usually.  Not long got a 3 pole B16 from the bay

They are QOE type IIRC

Here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=square+D+qoe&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=square+D+qoe+16A&_sacat=0

They may be old kit, but I like the fact you can hot swap them without shutting the whole building down. not that I would ever advise you to do that :innocent

Be careful,  There's another Square D plug in type, the KQ which is not interchangeable, so make sure you buy the right one.

Stepps

Would be good if you have time to look Thursday , cheers.

Sidey

Not Federal Sidey ,  its  a Square D  ( My fault for calling it Stablock)  although it does plug in .

Theres a used breaker place  in B,ham , at Spaghetti Junction , probably have one but as more people are trying to source older MCBs ...the cost is going up in proportion .   Last time an old MEM was £25 .

PD

Thanks for the link .  Had a look , theres a lot there ,  I ordered one , so  STEPPS  stop looking !! Thanks for the offer.

SqD (Schneider) bought out what remained of Federal Electric, this is where the plug in type design came from IIRC.

SqD recently re-launched the plug in devices, I still don't like them!

Not sure if they have been taken out of the catalogue with the Schneider re-branding.

you obviously forgot to press the scoob button :slap
Scoobing accomplished.!!

Shed 2

Drawer 7

Has produced the MCB you require

Pm me your address and i will get my son to post it out to you tomorrow if you want

Ah !  Thanks Kerch ...I ordered one on Fleabay an hour ago  but many  thanks for looking .   Blame PD .   Stand by to receive great wave of appreciation heading up the M6 .

However  Shed 2 ...Drawer 7 is somehow hard to believe .      I think more ...big box in corner with a mish - mash of old  breakers piled in it .

The Scoob button beckons :Applaud

Actually Ive been dumping stuff all this year ..as I adjust to my 3 day week ... the usual  "  Keep this  it'll come in on the next job .....Oh look its still here 5 years later " syndrome.

63 A & 100A  SW/fuses  & isolators , been there for 10 years  all went to the Scrappy ,  time was I'd have used them up in a month .

Watching those "Hoarder next Door" programmes and thinking OMG !  I could become the same .

What else was there ??   Sticks of solder 25mm wide ...moleskins ... parafin blowlamp last used circa 1970 ....Enox cutters ...1/2 ton of HRC fuses.... an unused 5ft  Flameproof / gastight fluorescent  fitting . engineered to function on  the surface of the Sun ...cost about a million £s each ...left over ... that'll come in on another job....will it heck as like !
